Flower Vase
Plant Pot
Sculptural Object
A sculptural bowl-form vase raised high on a slender pedestal base, the Iris pairs quiet drama with everyday ease. Its shallow, flared opening was made for statement stems — trailing branches, dried lotus pods, or a single architectural bloom — while the tall, narrow base gives it real presence on a console or shelf.

pot or a vase - bring your ikebana vision to life
- Material: Ceramic
- Dimensions: 21.5 cm H x 16 cm Top Diameter x 2.7 cm Base Diameter
- Roughly 8.5 inches tall with a 6.3-inch bowl opening — best suited to sculptural stems, dried botanicals, or a single dramatic branch rather than a dense arrangement
- Matte finish
- Handmade in India — natural variation in glaze/finish expected
Care: hand wash recommended to preserve the matte finish
Style it ikebana-inspired with looping stems and broad leaves for a piece that reads as much like sculpture as floristry, or let it stand empty on a plinth or console as a quiet, grounding object in its own right (see photos).
The Iris is built to hold attention. Its wide, saucer-like bowl balances on a tall, narrow pedestal — a proportion that feels both precarious and deliberate, like something poured rather than thrown. The deep matte black finish reads as pure silhouette from across a room, making it as effective empty as it is styled.
Fill the bowl with water for a loose arrangement of trailing stems and branches, or use it dry with sculptural dried botanicals like lotus pods — either way, the wide opening makes it easy to compose an arrangement with real movement.
Handcrafted in India from ceramic, each piece carries small variations in glaze and texture — part of its handmade character, not a flaw.
